Responsible Sourcing: How It Supports Sustainability and Owner Requirements
April 28, 2026 | 2:00 - 3:00 pm Eastern | Register
Responsible sourcing is increasingly referenced by owners and agencies as part of broader sustainability and carbon-reduction goals. This session will focus on how responsible sourcing applies specifically to concrete, how CSC certification fits into LEED, Envision, and public-sector projects, and what producers and project teams are seeing in practice. The discussion will emphasize real-world application and owner-driven expectations, rather than organization-specific overviews. As with all Tech Tuesdays, the session will remain educational and industry-focused, with time reserved for discussion and questions.

ConcreteNexus Webinar:
Use of Mineral Fines to Reduce Carbon Emissions, Decrease Production Cost, and Improve Durability
May 19, 2026 | 1:00 - 2:00 pm Eastern | Register

This webinar explores how precisely graded mineral fines can transform concrete performance while lowering both environmental impact and operational costs. By improving particle packing and increasing mix density, producers can significantly reduce cement content while improving strength, durability, or workability, often saving $5 to $20 per cubic yard while meaningfully shrinking their carbon footprint. Attendees will learn how this practical, field‑proven approach delivers stronger, more sustainable concrete and measurable bottom‑line benefits.
The session will be presented by John Guynn, Founder and Chief Science Officer of Roman Cement, an innovator with more than 40 U.S. and international patents related to low‑carbon concrete technologies. With decades of experience developing and testing advanced mix designs—including multiple award‑winning field trials—John brings deep technical expertise and industry leadership. He currently serves on the ACI 211‑N committee and leads a task force updating standards for proportioning with ground limestone and mineral fillers.
The session will be hosted by Lionel Lemay, Founder and CEO of ConcreteNexus LLC.
